TURBAN - Mild Heat - Seed Garlic

Portuguese starts with a slow gentle heat while carrying a subtle sweetness. 6-7 cloves per bulb. While cured for longevity, Portuguese is a variety best used earlier than other varieties, storing well for 5-6 months.

As seed, this variety is suitable for moderate winters but has demonstrated it can produce well in northern regions as well. A handsome, medium sized bulb.
